Deputy Governor of Taiz for Health Affairs Elan Abdulhaq discussed Tuesday with Samaritan Purse International the organization's interventions in health sector, nutrition, water and sanitation in the province's districts.
Abdulhaq pointed out to Taiz's needs of health and food support, especially in districts of Shamaytain and Mawaset in addition to the city's districts due to huge increasing numbers of population during the past period and continuation of suffering of the people over the war and Houthi siege on the city.
In the meeting, Director of Planning and International Cooperation office in Taiz Nabil Jamel confirmed keenness of the local authority of providing support and facilitations to international organizations to implement their programs and projects.
For his part, the Regional Director of Samaritan Purse Tim Cunt reviewed interventions plan of the organization in fields of health, water and sanitation for 2021-2022.
