Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

GCC's ministerial council calls for implementing Riyadh Agreement

The Gulf Cooperation Council's Ministerial Council has confirmed firm positions supporting Yemen's legitimacy under President Abd-Rabu Mansour Hadi and his government to end the crisis in Yemen and reaching a political solution on the bases of the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.

The ministerial council renewed in its final release of the 149th Round concluded on Thursday renewed its support to efforts of the United Nations in Yemen to reach a political solution on the bases of the aforementioned references and welcomed appointing Hans Grunberg a new envoy to the Secretary General of the United Nations to Yemen.

The council also welcomed results of the council's meeting with Yemeni Foreign Minister Ahmad bin Mubarak held today.

The council renewed call to parties of Riyadh Agreement to finalize the rest articles in the agreement and making preparations for the return of the government to Aden to practice its duties and activate development process in the liberated provinces.

The council affirmed that implementation of Riyadh Agreement is a guarantee to unify different fronts of Yemeni people and for regaining the state and saving blood of Yemeni people.

The council denounced Houthi militia's continuous shelling of civilians in provinces of Baidha'a and Marib and attacking camps of displaced people in Marib by ballistic rockets and drones.
