TAIZ - SABA
Iran-backed Houthi militia attacked on Saturday Mocha Port by a ballistic missile and five drones, damaging the infrastructure of the seaport.
Director of Mocha Port Abdulmalik al-Shara'bi told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the criminal Houthi militia attacked the port by one ballistic missile and five laden-explosive drones, burning the tanks and hangers of the port.
The attack caused huge havoc into the port, but no human losses, said al-Shara'bi.
" Preparations have been ongoing today to re-operate the port officially with attendance of government delegation from the ministry of transport, customs, agriculture and a number of ministries and offices," he said.
The port director confirmed that attacking a civil port is considered criminal act by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, which seeks to damage the port and stop its operation after fixing damages caused by the militia's war and begin receiving trade ships.
