Effective partnership with the UNICEF, ACTED is needed, says senior official

Deputy governor of Marib governorate Dr. Abd-Rabbu Miftah highlighted the need for more active and effective partnership between the local authority in Marib and the UNICEF and the French ACTED organization.

His remarks came as he met here today separately with the UNICEF's team and the director of the ACTED office in the temporary capital Aden who arrived in Marib on work visits.

Miftah underscored the need for establishing the UNICEF's bureau in Marib as soon as possible.

It is important to note that the ACTED organization carried out the Cash-Money Aid project in Marib during the three past months of June, July and August.

2491 families received the money aid, every family was paid 141 thousand Yemen Rial (YR) per month.
