MARIB – SABA
The office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in Marib governorate launched today a comprehensive evaluation process for government hospitals in the governorate, which will last for two months, as part of building a strategic plan to develop the health sector's performance.
The Director of the office, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shadadi, explained that the field assessment "will enable us to identify the nature of the health situation in the governorate and the level of performance and to identify aspects of needs, shortcomings, strengths and opportunities, in order to build a comprehensive strategy to develop the health sector and bridge the gap between the available capabilities and delivered health services."
The process will also assess the strain of demand on services as a result of the large number of population into the governorate over the past years.
