The National Supreme Anti-Corona Committee reviewed Monday a number of reports on results of its activities during the past period and developments of the health situation and efforts of facing COVID-19.
Presided over by Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik, the committee heard from Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh on health situation and latest statistics on suspected, infectious, death and recovered cases.
Buhaibeh pointed out to remarkable decrease of infected and suspected cases and stressed significance of continuous precautions and protective measures, especially as infected cases area increasing in the region.
He touched upon results of vaccinating campaigns, which achieved great success, expecting arrival of new batches of anti-corona vaccines assigned to Yemen through international vaccine initiative and US support to Yemen during the forthcoming days.
The Secretary General of the Cabinet Muti'e Dammaj reviewed a report on results of evacuating Yemenis stranded in India, pointing out that 600 people were evacuated through four flights to Aden International Airport via Yemeni Airline Company.
