Yemen FM briefs German Bundestag member on Yemen developments
[28/06/2021 11:58]
BERLIN - SABA
Yemen's Foreign Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak and the Chairman of the German Bundestag's Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development Dr. Peter Ramsauer discussed in a meeting in Berlin today the latest developments in Yemen and the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Bin Mubarak briefed the German official on the international and regional endeavors aimed at brokering a ceasefire agreement between the Yemeni government and the Houthi radical theocratic militia and the Houthi militia' rejection to now of all the peace initiatives and continuous aggression against the city of Ma'rib which hosts milions of escapees from the militia.

Bin Mubarak made clear that the Houthi militia that seized the capital city in September 2014 is still pushing ahead with its wars besieging and attacking cities like Taiz and Marib, stealing humanitarian aid and public resources harnessing them for funding the war and exacerbating the humanitarian crisis they triggered in the country.
