Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Head of Shoura Council Ahmad Bin Daghr received Tuesday Egyptian Non-Resident Ambassador to Yemen Ahmad Farouq discussing with him latest developments in Yemen.

Bin Daghr expressed gratitude to Egypt for its positions supporting Yemen and Egypt's role in alleviating suffering of Yemeni displaced people there.

He confirmed that peace is the aim of the political leadership led by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi. He welcomed the call of President of Egypt Abdelfattah al-Sisi to Yemeni people to tackle their country's affairs.

For his part, the Egyptian diplomat expressed continuation of Egyptian support to Yemeni people and the government and support to peace efforts until realizing stability in Yemen and the region.
