Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Awad Bin Mubarak discussed today in Kuwait with the Director of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development Abdel Wahab Al-Badr the mechanisms for enhancing cooperation between Yemen and the Fund to finance development and reconstruction projects.
Bin Mubarak praised the efforts made by the Kuwaiti Fund in financing development projects in Yemen during the past six decades, and the fund’s keenness to continue supporting projects related to basic services, which constitute one of the most important urgent humanitarian needs during this stage.
For his part, the Director of the Kuwait Fund for Development affirmed that the fund is ready to resume financing projects and complete what was previously started, indicating that the fund had previously signed agreements with the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to finance a number of development projects that contribute to restoring the economy and support Yemen’s economic recovery and reconstruction process.
