Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Wa'id Batheeb met here today, Wednesday, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Yemen, General Supervisor of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen (SPDRY) Mohamed al-Jaber.
The session intended to discuss the developmental projects carried out by the SPDRY in different Yemeni governorates.
Dr. Batheeb cited most pressing developmental projects in the sectors of transport, highways, education and health including repair Aden airport, develop capacities of Aden and al-Mukalla seaports.
The Minister presented a list of top developmental priorities, medium and long-terms projects the Yemeni government set out to work on in the coming period.
Dr. Batheeb expressed the Yemeni government's deep gratitude to the SPDRY for its contribution to the development drive in Yemen.
