Deputy Governor of Marib discussed Thursday with coordinators of the humanitarian work in the UN humanitarian office in the province cooperation for evacuating a number of government building from displaced people and relocating them in alternative camps.
The meeting included Officer of Permanent Solution at UN High Commission for Refugees Arnek Binker, Coordinator of Camps Management Bloc Summayah Shiban, Representative of the International Organization for Migration Ibrahim Saeed, Coordinator of Protection Blok Bakil al-Qubati and Director of Displaced People Camps Management in Marib Saif Muthanna.
The meeting discussed significance of relocating displaced people from the Community College, Saba Region University, Agricultural Office and the Museum for enabling these institutions and offices to perform their work and rehabilitating them to provide their services to the people.
The meeting discussed coordination with different humanitarian activities partners for helping the local authority in establishing alternative camps and providing them with basic services to provide suitable lodging and care to displaced people.
