The Permanent Representative of the Republic of Yemen to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah Assa'di detailed the United Nations Under-Secretary of for Political Affairs and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo on the latest developments about the situations in Yemen and the terrorist attack carried out by Houthi insurgent militia on Aden airport.

In a phone call he conducted Monday with Rosemary Assa'd stated that targeting the newly formed Yemeni government is a coward terrorist action deliberately designed to engulf the country in chaos and violence.

Assa'd affirmed the Yemeni government's keenness to support the UN's efforts through its special envoy Martin Griffiths to reach permanent and inclusive peace.

DiCarlo expressed he strong condemnation of the gruesome attack on Aden airport, affirming the UN's keenness to resume political process to make peace in Yemen.
