The Yemeni Journalists Syndicate has said that its Secretary-General, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Journalists Mohammed Shubaita was shot injured by a gunman in Houthi terrorists-controlled Sana'a today.

Marib government, Norwegian Refugee Council consider humanitarian partnership

Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbu Miftah and a mission of from the Norwegian Refugee Council discussed in a meeting, today, humanitarian partnership between the local government and the Council in interventions that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the IDPs and refugees in the governorate.

Miftah confirmed the local authority’s keenness to provide support and facilities to the Norwegian Council to enable it to implement its humanitarian activities in the governorate in accordance with the regulations in force and based on the principles of transparency and participation. He welcomed the idea of establishing a humanitarian partnership between the local authority and the Council.

They discussed the plight of the Yemeni families that have not stopped escaping the Houthi militia’s crackdown over the years into the government-administered governorate.
The talks also went over the challenges to the local authority as a result: the growing pressure on services and resources.
