The National Demining Program in Abyan destroyed Wednesday a number of mines, explosive devices and unexploded shells in Yasouf area, Lauder District here.

The demining Sponsor in the Province, the Commander of the Third Team Colonel al-Khader al-Soufi said the destroyed mines included 6 anti-tank mines, 24 different shells, five grenades and four bombs.

He pointed out that the teams started demining in the middle area in Abyan early February 2016 until now, noting that this operation is the eighth in Lauder
