PM, Chinese ambassador discuss implementation of Riyadh Agreement

Prime Minster Ma'een Abdulmalik discussed Tuesday with Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yung latest developments in Yemen, including steps for finalizing the mechanism of speeding up implementation of Riyadh Agreement.
The meeting tackled Houthi militia's continuous military escalation, rejecting all peace efforts and hindrance access of the UN team to Safir Oil Tanker, which threatens of potential environmental disaster in the Red Sea and Chinese needed role for pressuring Houthi militia and their supporters.
Prime minister reviewed measures taken for speeding up implementation Riyadh Agreement, including formation of the new government and results of consultations with all political parties.
He stressed significance of serious work for solving the tanker crisis, pointing out that the government had not made any condition for solving it or linking the issue to other political files for avoiding environmental disaster.
He praised position of China for supporting the internationally- recognized government in different fields and different conditions.
For his part, the Chinese diplomat congratulated prime minster on the ceremony of October 14 Revolution, praising his efforts for forming the new government.
He confirmed that China will support the new government for realizing security and stability to Yemeni people.
