U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

FM discusses with Russian Ambassador latest developments in Yemen

RIYADH- SABA
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami discussed Wednesday with Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dudechken relations between the two countries and latest developments in Yemen.

Al-Hadhrami confirmed that the mechanism of speeding up implementation of Riyadh Agreement is a key step in the right direction, pointing out to keenness of the government of Yemen on implementing all articles of the agreement for integrating efforts for deterring Iranian Houthi agenda in Yemen and for realizing peace.

He pointed out to Safir Oil Tanker Issue and warned of Houthi militia's negligence of this issue and kidnaping it for endangering Yemen and regional countries through making illogical conditions for hindering the process of evaluating the conditions of tanker and draining it from crude oil.

For his part, the Russian diplomat confirmed his country's support to the internationally-recognized government and Yemeni people, expressing hope of realizing security and stability in Yemen soon.
