Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation signed a memorandum of understanding in the interim capital, Aden, today with the Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control and the United Nations World Food Program, regarding the program’s provision of 66 devices for examining Yemen's food imports.

The MOU aims to provide inspection equipment for imported food and to enhance the performance of the Standardization Authority.

The Deputy Minister of Planning Nezar Basuheib stressed the need to properly and appropriately use the inspection equipment in accordance with the required specifications and standards, praising the support of the WFP.
