The governor of Taiz has called all military units in the central Yemen province to unify ranks in preparation to break the Houthi-siege on the provincial capital and liberate the outskirts.
Supervising a newly appointed military commander's takeover of a brigade in Al-Turbah outskirt, Nabil Shamsan said the enemy – the Houthi theocratic militia – is still lurking in all sides of Taiz.
The Iran-backed militia have been besieging Taiz for nearly six years.
