Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Najib al-Aweg discussed with the Regional Director of the World Bank (WB) for Egypt, Yemen and Djibouti Marina Wes and the Country Director in Yemen Raja Qattan aspects of cooperation between our the Yemeni Government and the WB.
Discussions held on Tuesday via a videoconference focused on the action-plans to carry out several projects funded by the WB in the domains of education, roads, social protection, water, sanitation and rehabilitation of the seaports.
The two sides agreed to set-up steering committees for every project separately from the WB, ministries in charge and the implementing parties.
