U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

BaSoheib meets with Directors of IOM, IRO in Yemen

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nezar BaSoheib met Wednseday here in the interim capital Aden with Director of the Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Aden Sangokta Sahani.

They discussed the mechanism of carrying out the multi-sectors survey in the government-held governorates and regions about the pressing needs of the refugees and IDPs.

Separately Dr. BaSoheib met with the Deputy Director of the International Relief Organization (IRO) in Yemen Abdurahman Ali.

The discussions focussed on the IRO's plans and projects to be carried out this year 2020 in different spheres.

BaSoheib also met with the Director of "Seeking for Common Ground Organization" in Yemen Dr. Najm Addin.

The organizations' programs and projects were discussed.
