The Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Salem al-Soqatri met today, Tuesday, with the Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Dr. Qu Dongyu, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the 38th Session of the FAO Regional Conference for the Near East, held in Rome.

ALMAHARAH-SABA
Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed al-Maysari convened a meeting sundry included senior official of local authority in the governorate of Almaharah.

The session devoted to discuss the situations in the governorate and challenges need to be addressed to help improve basic services.

Al-Maysari appreciated the significant efforts made by the local authority, praising the constructive role of social dignitaries and community leaders in Almaharah in maintain security and stability in the governorate.

Minister of Transport Saleh al-Jabwani and Minister of State Maj. General Mohammed Kadah were in presence.
