Yemen explores American help in managing the state's budget

Yemeni-American talks convened Thursday in the HQ of the US Department of State.
Minister of International Cooperation Najeeb al-Aweg and Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) Ahmed al-Fadhli held discussions with General Director of the Bureau of the US Department of State for Near East Affairs Timothy Pounds.
The session held on the sideline of the annual meetings of the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Al-Weg's and al-Fadhli's conversations with Pounds aimed to explore the US support to help Yemen securing necessary funds to manage the deficit in the state's general budget.
Yemen's Ambassador to Washington Ahmed Awadh bin Mubark was in attendance.
