His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), visited today, Tuesday the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Work. MSF-Holland reveals interest to open office in IDPs safe haven – Marib

MSF-Holland has revealed its interest in opening a branch office in Yemen's safe haven for IDPS, the province of Marib.

In a visit to the province and meeting with its Deputy Governor Abd-Rabbu Miftah, an MSF-Holland team said the organization is interested to open an office and launch health aid programs within the coming four months.

They organization will launch mobile clinics for offering child and maternal healthcare services in IDP camps and assist rural health projects in coordination with Yemen's Health Ministry.

Miftah welcomed the overture, saying the local authorities will offer all the facilitations needed for the organization's mission to succeed.

He reviewed the challenges the eastern Yemen province has been enduring since the influx of refugees began five years ago and the stress on health, education and other services Marib has grappled with.
