FM, Dutch Trade Minister discuss HRC's discussion on Yemen

Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami discussed Thursday with Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and International Cooperation Sigrid Kaagon the sidelines of the 74th Round of the UN General Assembly Human Rights Council's discussions on Yemen.

Al-Hadhrami informed the Dutch Minister on accomplishments of the National Committee to Investigate Alleged Human Rights Violations on monitoring violations by all parties, pointing to difficulties the committee faces and the need of implementing HRC's decisions regarding technical support to the committee.

He confirmed avoiding politicization of human rights issue in Yemen as the government and international alliance's joint goal is protecting human rights in Yemen and banning breaches by all parties.

For her part, the Dutch Minister confirmed her country's support to Yemen and commitment for supporting its security and unity, as well as standing by Yemenis who deserve decent living.
