Lebanon's Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri received Yemen's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Najib Al-Awj at the Grand Serail in Beirut today.
They discussed the latest developments on the Yemeni and Lebanese arenas and the regional and international interactions and discussed the close bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al-Awj briefed the Lebanese Prime Minister on the latest developments in Yemen and the efforts of the Yemeni government to normalize life in the temporary capital Aden and the rest of the liberated governorates; promote economic recovery; and start the process of reconstructions and re-exporting oil and gas in order to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The Lebanese Prime Minister affirmed his country's stand alongside Yemen's leadership, government and people.
He expressed the hope that Yemen will achieve security, peace and stability.
Hariri pointed out to the level of close relations between the two countries and expressed his readiness to cooperate in activating all agreements and understandings, especially those related to economic cooperation and investment. He stressed his keenness to support all that would contribute to the development of the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries.
