Yemen Supports Measures Taken by Kingdom of Bahrain to Confront Acts Threatening Its National Security
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has expressed the Republic of Yemen’s support and full endorsement of the measures taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain to confront acts that undermine national security and aim to destabilize the security and stability of the brotherly Kingdom.

Yemen, Germany discuss peace efforts

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami discussed Wednesday with German Charge D'Affairs to Yemen YannCrowzer developments of peace process in Yemen.

Al-Hadhrami renewed keenness of the government for making peace process successful and for supporting UN efforts in accordance with the three references.

He reviewed latest developments on implementing Stockholm agreement, stressing significance of full implementation of Hodeida agreement since the first phase and significance of implementation of what has been included in the agreement on local authority before commencing the second phase.

He also confirmed that the government has always been keen on implementing the agreement of exchanging prisoners on the principle of all for all as the issue is totally humanitarian, saying it is not acceptable to split the agreement or settlement on keeping innocent detainees as hostages in Houthi militia's prisons.

He urged that Houthis must respect international human rights law and human rights law and must commit to what has been agreed upon in Stockholm agreement without delay.

He also stressed also that the militia should stop illegal prosecutions against those included in prisoners' agreement, calling the international community to denounce these practices like issuing death verdicts against 30 prisoners.

For his part, the German diplomat confirmed continuous support to the government of Yemen and to UN efforts for implementing Stockholm agreement and realizing inclusive and sustainable peace.
