Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as investors' expectations of demand growth eased due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China.
Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation discussed Tuesday with Food and Agriculture Organization draft project for improving food security to small farmers.
Attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation for Irrigation Sector Engineer Ahmad al-Zamiki and senior ministry's officials, the meeting reviewed the project's key interventions targeting small farmers for improving food security and livelihoods, creating work opportunities to youth, investing in agricultural development and activating woman's role.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation for Planning and Information Sector Engineer Ali al-Junaid praised the role of FAO for its projects and sustainable social programs. He also praised significance of coordination between the ministry and the organization in field of improving agricultural and animal sector.
FAO's Expert Abdulwahid Mukrid reviewed the project's draft and its key targets and interventions that include making policies and investment programs based on modern strategies.
