Minister of Planning and International Cooperation DrNajeeb al-Aweg held meeting Wednesday in Jordanian capital Amman included the committee tasked with promoting food security information system and early warning, Representative of FOA in Yemen Salah al-Hah and high-profile delegation from the European Union (EU).

The discussions focused on the project of enhancing food security information system and early warning.

The project is funded by the EU and carried out by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FOA).

The Minister appreciated the EU's support for this project and other projects in the fields of agriculture and fishery.
