Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Najeeb Al-Awj participated today in the roundtable held by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) which convened the bank’s Board of Governors.
The event was themed " Transformation in a Changing World" and aimed at discussing the appropriate means for supporting member countries.
Al-Awj called on the IsDB to support Yemen given its tragic circumstances caused by the Houthi militia's coup and war.
Awaj stressed that the government is exerting intensive efforts to overcome the economic and humanitarian challenges and restore services and economic recovery.
