Minister of Defense convenes meeting of senior military officials

Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohammed Ali al-Maqdashi held a meeting on Wednesday here brought together senior officials in Ministry of Defense and Command of Chief of Staff.

The session devoted to discuss underway efforts to build up the national military, getting all military directorates and units functioning effectively.

General al-Maqdashi stressed the importance of acting institutionally and professionally. He said "All military administrative directorates should act to serve the combat military personnel in the battlefield".

The Minister of Defense touched upon the ongoing battle has been fought by the national military troops backed by Saudi-led Arab Coalition against the Iran-allied Imamate Houthi militia.

He highly appreciated the Saudi-led Coalition member states support for the Yemeni military in this fateful battle.
