Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Wednesday here with Prime Minister Dr Ma'een Abdulmalik.
The session devoted to review the government's efforts and action-plans aiming to renormalize situations, reinstate basic services and address challenges in the development, security and military domains.
The Prime Minister detailed the Vice President on the efforts have been made by the government to manage economic hardships, improve basic services and allay the Yemeni peoples' suffering caused by Iran-baked Houthi rebel militia.
Discussions also touched upon military advancements on the ground gained by the armed forces backed by Saudi-led Arab Coalition against Iran-allied Houthi militia in the battle for putting down the militia coup and reinstate official authorities.
The Vice President blamed the rebel militia for exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and prolonging the Yemeni peoples' ordeal . He stated that the militia's intransigence and intention to foil Sweden Agreement by rejecting to implement the accord about Hodeidah is solid proof that it is bloodthirsty wants to cause more bloodshed and damage.
Mohsen has made clear that political leadership headed by President Hadi along with Saudi-led Arab Coalition largely backed by United Arab Emirates have been determined to foil Iran's sabotage scheme, maintain Yemen's identity, republican regime and establishing peace based on the three terms of reference, GCC's Initiative, its operational plan, outcomes of National Dialogue and International Security Council resolution 2216.
