State officials performed funeral service and paid last respects to the deputy chief of staff of Yemen's army who died in a drone attack by Houthi militia on a military parade in south Yemen last month.
Ministers, top security officials and relatives of Maj. Gen. Saleh al-Zindani performed the service in Huqqat Mosque in the city before carrying the Yemeni flag-draped casket to the cemetery. A military band played music in honor of the martyr.
