High Relief Committee (HRC) has strongly condemned Houthi rebel militia's shelling against a Camp of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Haradh district of Hajjah governate.

The militia's militants bombarded the Camp on Saturday killing 8 people, wounding 27 more.

In statement the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) obtained a copy of, the HRC described the continuation of such crimes against the (IDPs) is considered to be an offense against humanity.

The HRC demanded the UN Coordinator of Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen to condemn this carnage and immediately act to stop the militia's atrocities and report about to the UN and International Security Council.
