Chief of Staff highlights the importance of getting al-Baidha cleared of Houthi militiamen

General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Abdullah Annakha'ee met on Monday in the temporary capital Aden with Governor al-Baidha governorate Commander of al-Baidha military axis Maj. General Nasser Asswadi.

The session devoted to discuss military situations and combat operations different fronts of the province where government's troops have been fighting Houthi rebel militia.

General Assawadi reported to (Lt Gen) Annakha'ee about the latest developments relating to the ongoing combat operations, citing the challenges facing the troops and local resistance fighters and the needed resources to get the al-Baidha cleared of the Houthi rebel militia.

The Chief of Staff commended great sacrifices of the population of al-Baidha alongside the national military in battling the Houthi rebels, urging joining efforts and reinforcing the fronts to drive the remaining militiamen out of the province.
