The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Najeeb al-Aweg met separately Sunday in Aden, temporary capital, with chairwoman of French Doctors without Borders organization ( MSF) and Director of the office of the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs.

Dr al-Aweg's conversations with the (MSF) focused primarily on the organization action-plan in 2019.

The Minster's discussions with the Director of the (OCHA) office in Aden touched upon the planned visit of the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen Lise Grande. Grande's trip is set to discuss the Humanitarian Response Plan in 2019.
