Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Salem Al-Soqtari, held discussions in Aden today with a delegation from the World Bank led by the Bank’s Senior Agricultural Specialist, Manivannan Pathy, to review ongoing and upcoming interventions in Yemen’s agricultural sector.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Najeeb al-Aweg met separately Sunday in Aden, temporary capital, with chairwoman of French Doctors without Borders organization ( MSF) and Director of the office of the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs.
Dr al-Aweg's conversations with the (MSF) focused primarily on the organization action-plan in 2019.
The Minster's discussions with the Director of the (OCHA) office in Aden touched upon the planned visit of the UN Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs in Yemen Lise Grande. Grande's trip is set to discuss the Humanitarian Response Plan in 2019.
