Aden Security Committee discuss action-plan of campaign to ban, regularize weapon possession

ADEN-SABA
Security Committee in the temporary capital Aden convened a high –profile meeting Thursday chaired by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Eng.Ahmed Al-Mayssari.

The session devoted to discuss action-plan to carry out an overall campaign aiming to ban carrying weapons in the city of Aden and central cities in the neighboring provinces.

The planned campaign is intended to contribute to maintain security , stability and remove armed features that have proved dangerous for the peoples safety and stability.

Commander of Arab Coalition Forces in Aden was in attendance.
Al-Mayssari called on all official and non-official media organizations to contribute to the campaign.

The Commander of Arab Coalition Forces in Aden affirmed full support to the leadership of Ministry of Interior and its different authorities and services.

The meeting approved establishing a joint committee from different military and security services to devise executive mechanism to put the campaign in place.
