Minister of Local Administration—Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee—Abdulraqeeb Fatah revealed that Houthi putschist militia holding 10 ships loaded fuels and food stuffs in the seaport of Hodeidah, preventing unloading their shipments, some ships have been detained since six months.

In statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Fatah stated that a ship named(Distya Pushti) anchored in the port last September 28 laden with 10955 tons of diesel and 9025 tons of petrol. The ship (RINA) docked on October 3 carried out 5700 tons of flour and sugar. The militia didn't allow unloading the cargo.

He noted that the ship (SINCERO) arrived last September 26 laden with 15025 tons of diesel. While the ship CSRPE DIEM-2 arrived on September 30 loaded 19350 tons of diesel. The ship called PVT EAGLE arrived on October 3 carrying out 7022 tons of diesel and 14793 of petrol. The ships haven't yet been allowed to unload their shipments. Six ships more laden with fuels and commercial stuffs were held for different periods over the past three months.

The Minister noted that the militia has deliberately opted to this measure simultaneously with creating fuels crisis and imposed extra fees on fuels reached up to 06% and promote black markets controlled by the militia's loyal merchants.
