The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif al-Zayyani discussed on Sunday with the UN Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith efforts for resuming political talks to be held in Geneva this September,6.
Al-Zayyani renewed support of the council to efforts of the UN envoy in this regard, according to Saudi News Agency (WAS).
He hoped success of this round of talks for reaching a political solution in Yemen in accordance with the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
