The Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Taher Al-Aqeeli and the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Arab Coalition Marshal Ahmad Al-Shehri have together discussed the Yemeni armed forces efforts, with backing from the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, to counterthe Houthi rebel militia.

The meeting discussed the means of coordination and cooperation and the improvement of the Yemeni forces' operational deployment capabilities.

Al-Aqeeli hailed the enormous support the Coalition offers to the Yemeni armed forces in countering the Iran-backed terrorist group.
