Yemen, ambassadors of Group 15 discuss political development

Yemen's Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates Fahd al-Minhali discussed on Thursday with ambassadors of the 15 permanent member countries in the UN Security Council in the UAE latest political developments in the country and western coast.

In the meeting held at the UAE Foreign Ministry and International Cooperation attended by the UAE State Minister for Foreign Affairs Anwar Qarqash, al-Minhali reviewed government's legal right in regaining Hodeida City and its two ports from Houthi rebel militia.

Al-Minhali confirmed support of the government of Yemen to efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith for reaching a political solution based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN resolution 2216.
