Al-Ashbi presents his credentials as Non-resident ambassador to Maldives

Mohammed Mutaher Al-Ashbi presented Thursday his credentials to the President of the Republic of Maldives Yameen Abdulqaioum as Non-resident plenipotentiary ambassador of Republic of Yemen to the Republic of Maldives.

Following ceremonial rites, Al-Ashbi conversed with the President, briefing him on the latest developments in Yemen, citing the legitimate government's efforts backed by Saudi-led Arab Coalition aimed to put an end of the war triggered by Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia and establish the peace.

The President voiced his pleasure to further boost bilateral ties between the two countries to serve the common interests of the two brotherly peoples of Yemen and Maldives.
