The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Minister of Foreign Affairs Khaled al-Yemany has re-affirmed government's commitment of the political solution and supporting efforts of the UN envoy for a reaching a political solution based on the three references.

In his meeting with Bahrain Counterpart Sheikh Khaled Al Khalifa on Tuesday, on the sidelines of participation in the ministerial meeting for Chinese-Arab Cooperation Forum held here, al-Yemany praised support of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Yemeni people and its firm position supporting the legal government.

He valued Bahrain's participation in the Saudi-led Coalition and highly backed by the United Arab Emirates.
Al-Yemany briefed Al Khalifa on latest developments in Yemen in different domains.

For his part, the Bahraini minister confirmed his country's support to the government of Yemen and to the political settlement on the bases of the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UNSC's related resolutions led by Resolution 2216.

He also confirmed significance of coordination and cooperation between Yemen and Bahrain under the framework of the coalition.
