Yemen, Egypt discuss developments in Yemen

Minister of Foreign Affairs Khaled al-Yemany discussed with his Egyptian Counterpart Samih Shukri political and field developments in Yemen and boosting relation between the two countries.

In the meeting held on the sidelines of their participation in the eighth round of the Ministerial Meeting of China-Arab Cooperation Forum held here, al-Yemany expressed pride of the high level of brotherly and historical relations between the two countries.

He praised the role of Egypt in the Saudi-led Coalition and its sincerely firm attitudes for supporting the government of President Hadi and Yemeni people in facing challenges under these current exceptional conditions.

He praised facilitations provided by the government of Egypt to Yemeni residents and visitors.

For his part, the Egyptian minister praised deep-rooted brotherly relations between the two countries, confirming Egypt steadfast position for supporting the government of Yemen.

He showed readiness for cooperation in any other fields for restoring the state of Yemen and alleviate suffering of the Yemeni people.
