National Defense Council Holds Houthi Militias, Iranian Regime Accountable for Escalation, Approves Measures to Protect Sovereignty
The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) headed by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, held a joint meeting today, Monday, with the National Defense Council, (NDC) in the presence of all its members: Sultan al-Arada, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem al-Khanbashi.

Houthi militia recruited above 15 thousand child, says minister

Minister of Human Rights Mohammed Asker confirmed that Houthi putschist militia has recruited more than 15 thousand of Yemen children since it carried out its coup in 2014. He stated that the militia killed 1372 child and wounded 3882 more. Not to mention grave violations and abuses of children rights including maiming, sexual abuses and different forms of torture.

Speaking at seminar organized Thursday by the Ministry of Human Rights on the sidelines of the 38th Round of Human Rights Council in Geneva, Asker said" Houthi militia widely used and planted anti-individual mines, different forms of landmines and marine mines".

The Minister noted that KSrelief Center has carried out several projects aimed to rehabilitate children who were recruited by the Houthi militia. He also pointed to Saudi De-Mining Program in Yemen with total cost estimated at $40 million.
