Yemen's ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Dr Salim Saleh Al-Arradah met Wednesday with Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Isma'il Ould Sheikh Ahmed.
Yemeni-Mauritanian bilateral ties and cooperation were key focus of Al-Arradah's conversion with Ahmed.
The ambassador made clear that Government is intent on recapturing Hodeidah and all regions that are still Houthia militia controlled. He also noted that Iran-allied Houthi putschist militia have used civilians in Hodeida as human shields.
For his part, Ould Sheikh has reiterated Mauritania's position alongside Yemeni legitimate Government headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
