Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to our country, Executive Director of Humanitarian Operations, Mohammed Sa'aeed Al-Jaber, confirmed that KSA and Arab Coalition member states have been supporting the Yemeni legitimate government and national military that have been heroically battling Iran-backed militia to retake Yemeni territories from the militia.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following his meeting Saturday with ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the KSA, Sheikh Shakhpoot bin Nahyan Al-Nahyan and ambassadors of the Five International Security Council Permanent Member States to KSA, Al-Jaber said :" Liberating Hodeida city and seaport will be an emancipation of Humanitarian and Relief action from Houthi militia's grip and its terror that has been using the harbor to serve its own interests and smuggle weapons provided by Iran to prolong the war and impoverish the Yemen people".
Al-Jaber added:" Political solutions based on the GCC's Initiative, its executive plan, outcomes of National Dialogue and UNSCRs, namely 2216 is an objective that Arab Coalition and International community have been seeking for, but that is rejected by the militia".
The ambassador stated that the Coalition is going to work on delivering humanitarian aid and relief stuffs immediately once the seaport is liberated within a framework of an initiative was launched two days ago aimed to reach out all Yemeni regions.
The KSA and UAE ambassadors held a meeting with the ambassadors of the permanent membership of the International Security Council permanent member states to KSA. The discussions focused on the developments in our country, including military advancements in Hodeida, humanitarian efforts and other topics in relevant.
