The Official Spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Col. Turki Al Malki declared Sunday evening that at (8:9 p.m) the Saudi Royal Air Defense could detect a ballistic missile fired by Iran-backed Houthi putschist militia from Sa'ada province toward the Kingdom territories.
Col. Maliki stated that the rocket was intentionally aimed to target the residential areas in the city of (Jazan).
The Saudi Royal Air Defense managed to intercept the missile and destroy it. As a result some shrapnel scattered over the residential quarters, but no causalities reported, according to Al-Maliki.
