Prime Minister receives Saudi committee on Socotra's situation

Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid Bin Daghr received on Friday General Ahmad Abdulrahman al-Shiri, the Head of the Saudi Committee entrusted with inspecting the situations in Socotra Archipelago and listening to the government and local authority on latest incidents here.

Bin Daghr discussed with al-Shihri and the UAE Commander Abu Saif and the accompanying delegation the reasons behind tensions took place two days after the arrival of the Prime to the Socotra Island.

He discussed with al-Shihri means of overcoming reasons led to these tensions on the bases of objectives and principles of the Saudi-led Coalition with active contribution from the United Arab Emirates in facing Houthis and their militias.

They also discussed ways of preserving this framework (principles of the coalition) controlling the brotherly and strategic relations between the two parties and boosting cooperation.
