Governor of Lahj, the Commander of the 17th Infantry Brigade, Major General Ahmed Turki, discussed today with a visiting delegation from the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) headed by the director of organization's Aden sub-office, Khalid Abdo, the organization's humanitarian assistance programs and plans of interventions in the province's districts.
The governor praised the humanitarian role of the organization, which contributes to improving the standard of living of citizens, stressing the local authority's support to the organization and to facilitating its work in the province.
Khalid Abdu pointed out that the organization's activities focus on addressing malnutrition for pregnant women, lactating women, children, on affording medicines, restoring water wells and other support to farmers and to the internally displaced people in the Lahj.
