Members of the Security Council have renewed their support to the UN Envohy for Yemen Hans Grundberg on efforts aiming at reaching a political settlement under Yemeni leadership on the bases of the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council Resolution's 2216.

Taiz governor promises the CPF support, explores OCHA' assistance

Governor of Taiz Dr Ameen Ahmed Muhmood chaired a meeting Wednesday included leaders of the Coalition of Political Forces ( CPF) in the province.

The meeting devoted to discuss the CPF's blueprint that outlines the CPF's vision about different issues and solutions.

The governor commended the CPF's role in supporting the constitutional leadership headed by President Hadi. Muhmood vowed to help the CPF putting its platform in place. He also promised to provide the CPF with a headquarter.

Separately, the governor discussed with the UN Office OCHA in Aden. Muhmood highlighted the province's need for the OCHA's assistance.

He demanded the OCHA to open its office in Taiz so that it can be well familiar with the humanitarian situations in the province.
